Millburn is a prosperous, largely residential community. Many of its community members use its two train stations to commute to their easterly jobs while their children attend one of the best public-school systems in the State. The Mall at Short Hills is a premier, regional shopping destination surrounded by prestigious hotels and offices, while Downtown Millburn is home to many popular family-owned businesses and restaurants, offices, and national chains.

Residents can enjoy their weekend with a Millburn Deli sandwich under the cherry blossoms in Taylor Park, followed by a hike through South Mountain Reservation or a game of tennis in Gero Park. The Township has maintained its beloved small-town character all while supporting these business centers and access to interstate, state, and county routes. All of these factors make Millburn an attractive destination in Essex County.
